Kraken Mare, on Titan, is a body of liquid methane 1,170 km (727 miles) across and with an area of around 400,000 km² (154,000 sq mi) – making it slightly larger than Earth’s Caspian Sea. In July 2009, Cassini imaged the glint of reflected sunlight off Kraken Mare.
