The largest fish ball weighs 200 kg (440.9 lbs) and was achieved by Fujian Yuguan Food Co., Ltd. (China) in Fuqing, Fujian, China, on 26 January 2019.
It took 10 people over 7 hours to make and cook the fish ball. They made a customized mould to make the fish ball as well as a customized vessel to cook it in. The fully-cooked fish ball was transported to the ceremony site and part of the fish ball was distributed to the attendees and the rest was transported back to the company's cafeteria for about 300 employees to eat.
