Mt Thor, on Baffin Island, Nunavut, Canada, is a granite peak whose west face consists of a vertical drop of 1,250 m (4,101 ft). It is technically an overhang, with the average angle of repose of the cliff being at 105 degrees – 15 degrees beyond the vertical.
