Largest passport forgery

On 8 May 2009, Mandip Sharma from India and Brando Sibayan from the Philippines received jail terms of four years each from a court in the United Kingdom for running the largest ever passport forgery factory. On searching a property in the town of Leicester, officers from the UK Border Agency found up to 4,000 counterfeit passports for several European Union countries including Belgium, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal and Spain.
