Most islands for an archipelago

The Archipelago Sea lies within Finnish territorial waters in the Baltic Sea and contains around 40,000 separate islands. The whole archipelago is slowly rising as the land is still gradually 'rebounding' upwards since the weight of ice from the last Ice Age was removed.
