The most catches in an NFL game were 21, caught by Brandon Marshall (USA) of the Denver Broncos against the Indianapolis Colts in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA, on 13 December 2009. Marshall totaled 200 yards across his 21 receptions, catching all but seven of the balls thrown to him by Denver quarterback Kyle Orton. Two of the catches were for touchdowns and, following his 18-catch game in 2008 against the San Diego Chargers, Marshall became the first NFL player to have two games of 15 or more receptions in a career.
