Largest waterfall by vertical area

Victoria Falls, on the Zambezi River, between Zimbabwe and Zambia, while neither the tallest or widest in the world, is the largest by vertical area. Being 1,708 m (5,604 ft) wide and 108 m (354 ft) high, it creates a sheet of falling water with an area of around 184,400 m² (2,017,400 ft²).
