Although Korea’s renowned progaming scene has seen a number of competitions for female players in the past, the only woman currently active in the male-dominated Shinhan Bank Proleague is Seo Ji-Soo (ToSsGirL). She is signed to team STX SouL and boasts an impressive Actions Per Minute average of 360. In 2008’s Gom Averatec-Intel Classic Season 2, ToSsGirL defeated pro-gamer Modern 2-0 in a StarCraft match, becoming the first female gamer ever to win a KeSPAsanctioned tournament match.
