Japanese gamer Hidenori "Hikari" Kawamoto claims the accolade for the fastest completion on the European PS3 version of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater HD. Hikari played at the "Foxhound" rank on "extreme" difficulty, finishing the game in just 1 hour 14 minutes 27 seconds on 3 June 2013. Metal Gear Solid 3 HD reworked Kojima’s classic for a modern audience and with more modern graphics, but the stealthy gameplay remained central.
