Since the release of The Frozen Throne expansion pack in 2003, Blizzard Entertainment’s Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos has been the subject of numerous individual and team World Championships. The player who has finished in the most Gold, Silver and Bronze positions in these tournaments is Dutch gamer Manuel “Grubby” Schenkhuizen, who has achieved 44 podium placings. Grubby is recognized as one of the best Warcraft players currently playing and was the star of a gaming documentary entitled Beyond The Game (2008).
