Most expansion packs for a fantasy MMORPG videogame

With the launch of Call of the Forsaken on 8 October 2013 taking its total to 20, EverQuest remains the fantasy MMORPG with the most expansion packs. Launched in 1999, the game is now free to play, but players must still purchase expansion packs making it the game with the most paid-for content updates as well. It does have a rival when it comes to quantity, however. As of November 2013, when its Rubicon update was released, sci-fi MMO EVE Online also has 20 expansions, though it doesn't charge for them, making it the MMO with the most free gameplay expansions.
