The Xbox version of Karaoke Revolution, released in 2004, is the first karaoke game to offer downloadable content to its players. The additional songs were available for purchase via Xbox Live, though they were actually featured on the disc itself, with the $4.99 (£2.60) fee for each track pack of five or six songs used to unlock them. In total, the two games had 20 track packs, including one free bonus pack.
