As of 1 September 2013, the most successful culinary sim franchise is Cooking Mama, with 15.5 million copies sold since its 2006 launch. The mini-game series spans the DS, the 3DS, the Wii and iOS, but the most popular by far has been the original DS version, which has shifted 5.49 million units.
