With sales of 31.38 million copies, the best-selling Japanese RPG is Pokémon Red/Blue/Green. First released in Japan on 27 February 1996, the game came in three different colour variants, each one featuring some Pokémon exclusive to that edition. Featured in Guinness World Records Gamer's Edition 2010
