Last concorde flight

At 16.05 p.m (BST) on 24 October 2003, Concorde made its last touchdown at the UK's Heathrow Airport. On its final transatlantic flight, it carried 100 celebrities from New York City, USA, to mark the end of its 27 years of service. Before the flight, Captain Mike Bannister said, "What we have tried to do is to make the retirement of Concorde a celebration."
