Highest male literacy rate

In the 15-24 age group, male literacy rates are at a record high of 100% in Israel. According to the World Development Indicators database 2006, literacy is the ability of a person to "read and write a short, simple statement on their everyday life".

Israeli women of the same age score 99.6% (at No.1 is Cuba, with a score of 100%).
