The lowest score below par in 72 holes in a golf PGA Tour event is -35, and was achieved by Hideki Matsuyama (Japan) at The Sentry tournament on the Kapalua Plantation Course in Maui, Hawaii, USA, on 2–5 January 2025.

Hideki Matsuyama sank a birdie with his final putt to eclipse Cameron Smith’s PGA Tour record of -34, also recorded on the Kapalua Plantation Course. Matsuyama shot rounds of 65–65–62–65 at the par-73 course in Hawaii. He carded 33 birdies, two eagles and two bogeys across 72 holes.
