In October 2008 the organisers of Project Blinkenlights, in which the windows of the 27-floor, 99.5 m-high Toronto City Hall, Canada, were linked up and computer controlled as giant pixels, Rickrolled spectators by playing ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ on the side of the building.
