The FA Women's Premier League is the top division of league football competition in England for women and has been won a record 11 times by Arsenal Ladies in 1993, 1995, 1997, 2001 - 02 and 2004-09. Arsenal Ladies record in the 2008/09 season was 20 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat which was equal to Everton Ladies, however Arsenal Ladies won the title as a result of having a superior goal difference to Everton Ladies (+75 as opposed to +58).
