The youngest player in the UEFA Champions League is Max Dowman (UK, b. 31 December 2009), who was aged 15 years 308 days when he played for Arsenal (UK) against Slavia Prague (Czechia) in Prague, Czechia, on 4 November 2025.
Max Dowman became the first 15-year-old to play in the Champions League when he came on as a second-half substitute during Arsenal’s 3–0 away win in Prague. It was another milestone in a record-breaking season for Dowman, who had previously become Arsenal’s youngest-ever starter and also the second-youngest player to feature in the English Premier League (15 years 235 days) – behind his teammate Ethan Nwaneri (15 years 181 days).
