Discounting its $100-million-plus promotional costs, the basic production budget of Spectre (2015, USA/UK) is estimated to have been at least $245 million (£169 million), making it by far the most expensive entry in the James Bond movie series to date, easily beating the $200-m (£138-m) production budgets of both Skyfall (2012, USA/UK) and Quantum of Solace (2008, USA/UK).
