Best-selling Sims game on Nintendo consoles

Game: MySims Publisher: Electronic Arts Based on figures compiled by Edge Online, MySims, the 2007 series spin-off specially designed for the Nintendo Wii and DS, sold 3.72 million copies in its first six months on sale. Featuring cute cartoon-style graphics and full support for the Wii Remote, the game was aimed at younger gamers and proved that playing the game of life was appealing to all ages. In comparison, Sims 2 Castaway, which was released shortly afterwards on Wii, DS, PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable, sold just 1 million copies, despite appearing on two additional formats.
