MMORPG are not restricted to playing as just one character and will often have many different active characters to choose from. Player "Jsocci" holds the record for the most characters created on a single City of Heroes account. By spreading the creations accross the game's 11 US servers, Jsocci designed and played with a total of 149 different superhero and supervillain characters.
