Highest percentage of fighting games for a videogame console

A games machine that came in both arcade and console varieties, Neo Geo was widely regarded at the turn of the century as the top machine for fighting games, with more beat ’em ups released for it than any other genre. The system, renowned for its arcade quality graphics, was supported by around 150 games, of which over 40% were 2D fighters, including fan favourite franchises King of Fighters, Fatal Fury and Samurai Spirits.
