The first game to combine digitized actor images with light gun play was Nintendo’s electro-mechanical Wild Gunman in 1974. Laserdisc game Mad Dog McCree developed the live-action gun game further, adding more of a narrative element. McCree also has the dubious honour of being the worst-reviewed game in the history of PC Gamer US, with a truly cringe-inducing 4%. Guinness World Records Gamers' Edition 2009.
