Game: The Sentinel Publisher: Firebird Released in 1986, The Sentinel contained 9,999 levels. Those levels consisted of surreal, almost abstract, wire-frame landscapes through which players had to guide telepathic consciousness, always avoiding the indomitable gaze of the Sentinel. The game was created by Geoff Crammond, who is best known for his Formula One racing simulations.
