Most videogames based on a superhero group franchise

The X-Men characters have inspired more video game releases than any other group of comic characters, with at least 30 games available, trailing fellow Marvel superstar Spider-Man by five games. The first title in which the two sets of characters appear together is Acclaim’s 1992 Spider-Man/X-Men: Arcade’s Revenge. Guinness World Records Gamers’ Edition 2009.
