TOCA Touring Car Championship was the first video game to accurately model real-world racetracks using 3D landscape data obtained from the Ordnance Survey Solution Centre. All of the game’s10 tracks, including Donington, Silverstone, Thruxton, Brands Hatch, Oulton Park, Croft, Knockhill and Snetterton, were created using this technique, which was also employed for the sequel.
