Most CDs for a point ’n’ click videogame

The Japan-only Sega Saturn release of Phantasmagoria in 1997 came on eight CDs. The PC version on which it was based spanned seven discs. The main reason for this was the amount of Full Motion Video (FMV) contained in the game. To prevent too much disc-swapping, game data was repeated on each CD.
