Best-selling videogame “sleeper hit”

For a game about encouraging women into bed, it is fitting that Leisure Suit Larry In The Land Of The Lounge Lizards is the biggest sleeper hit in adventure gaming history. It sold just 2,000 copies in the first month – the worst sales start of any Sierra game ever but, over the first year, went onto sell 250,000 copies.
