First "adult" graphic adventure videogame

The seedy nature of the series was obvious from the start and Leisure Suit Larry In The Land Of The Lounge Lizards was the first graphic adventure aimed at an adult audience. For this reason, the game had an age-verification system which asked gamers a series of (USA-centric) multiple choice questions to which the developers thought only adults would know the answers.
