According to Nintendo's official investor reports, the hybrid handheld/home console achieved the impressive milestone on 31 December 2021, just 4 years 303 days after its release date on 3 March 2017. The Switch beat the PlayStation 4, which took 5 years 7 months, and the PlayStation 2, which took 5 years 9 months to hit 100m.
