The highest number of Madden Bowl victories (an annual elimination tournament using the latest version of Madden NFL) is two, a record held jointly by four professional football players. Former Washington Redskins running back Reggie Brooks won the title in 1995 and 1996, Jacquez Green, former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver, won it in 2001 and 2002, Indianapolis Colts defensive end Dwight Freeney won in 2003 and 2004, while Buccaneers tight end Alex Smith, won the title in 2006 and 2007.
Alex Smith is the most successful player of an annual elimination tournament using the latest version of Madden NFL. As well as having won two Madden Bowls - which equalled the record of three other professional football players - he also room the Rookie Madden Bowl in 2006 which made him the first and only player to win both in the same year.
