Since the founding of the Gourmand Cookbook Awards in 1995, more than 200,000 new food and wine books have been published by around 5,000 publishers. Two publishers share the number one spot for cookbooks, with a record nine Best Cookbook Publisher Awards: John Wiley (USA) and Mitchell Beazley (UK).
