On the last day of the 2007 World's Strongest Man event in Anaheim, California, USA, Sebastian Wenta (Poland) became the first person to complete the Fingal's Fingers event in under 31 seconds, with a time of 30.92 seconds. Fingal's Fingers are an ever lengthening series of five wooden poles weighing from 200 to 300 kg (441 to 661 lb) hinged at ground level; the aim is to flip over each finger 180° in as fast a time as possible. The "fingers" increase in length from 3.5 m to 5.5 m (11 ft 5 in to 18 ft), and weigh 200, 225, 250, 275 and 300 kg (441, 496, 551, 606, 661 lb).
