Most popular surgical plastic surgery procedure for males

According to the most recent annual report from the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), the world's most popular cosmetic procedure performed by plastic surgeons on men is blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), with 292,707 surgeries carried out in 2017. Globally, men opted for a total of 1,550,263 cosmetic surgical alterations in 2017, accounting for 14.4% of all aesthetic procedures.

Blepharoplasty involves reshaping the eyelids, typically removing excess skin, fat and weakened muscle tissue to give a smoother, younger look. Eyelid-reshaping accounts for 12.5% of all forms of cosmetic surgery across both sexes.The second most-requested cosmetic treatment was for men, with 243,272 operations in 2017, was treatment for gynecomastia, a condition in which men experience an enlargement of glandular breast tissue, typically as a result of obesity (technically pseudogynecomastia), hormonal imbalance or hypothyroidism. The third most popular aesthetic procedure for men in 2017 was liposuction (removal of unwanted body fat), with 237,201 operations.
