At 32 years 8 days, Alex Rodriguez (USA, b. 27 July 1975) became the youngest player in baseball history to reach 500 career home runs when he homered off Kyle Davies (USA) pitching for the Kansas City Royals (USA) at Yankee Stadium in Bronx, New York, USA, on 4 August 2007.
