Most dangerous road

The road considered by many to be the most lethal in the world is the North Yungas Road that runs for 69 km (43 miles) from La Paz to Coroico in Bolivia, and takes up to 300 deaths annually - 4.3 per km (6.9 per mile)! For the majority of the stretch, the single lane mud road (with two-way traffic) has an un-barricaded vertical drop, measuring 4,700 m (15,420 ft) at its highest, which becomes even more deadly during the rainy season!
