Tetris DS, launched in March 2006, was the first incarnation of the game to go wireless. At a Twin Galaxies-refereed event on 5 July 2012, Isaiah Triforce Johnson (USA) registered the most points scored in a Tetris DS standard marathon, with an incredible 1,584,000 points. Johnson also holds the record for fastest time to achieve a perfect score on Tetris DS (8 hours 10 minutes 22 seconds).
