The Avicii Arena (originally the Stockholm Globe Arena and formerly the Ericsson Globe) in Sweden is the world’s largest hemispherical building. With a diameter of 110 m (361 ft), this half-sphere building stands 85 m (288 ft) tall, and has a total volume of is 600,000 m³ (21 million ft³). The Globe Arena opened on 19 February 1989 and is the home ground to two of Stockholm's ice hockey teams, AIK and Djurgårdens IF.
