The small town of Dafen, a suburb of Shenzhen in China measuring only 3.8 km² (1.5 mile²), is the world’s leading centre for hand-made reproduced art works, with 60-70 per cent (or approximately five million) of the world’s great painting reproductions in oil produced each year by workers - the fastest of whom can paint up to thirty great masters a day.
