The tallest floorless roller coaster is Valravn, located in the Cedar Point amusement park in Sandusky, Ohio, USA. The ride, which opened to the public on 7 May 2016, rises to a height of 68 m (223 ft).
The term floorless describes a roller coaster where the passengers are restrained in a sitting position, but not in an enclosed car. The open framework supporting the seats allows riders to see down past their feet. Valravn was designed by world-renowned roller coaster engineering firm Bolliger & Mabillard.
