Longest rollercoaster shuttle design

The longest shuttle-type roller coaster is Fury, located at Bobbejaanland, near Antwerp, Belgium. Fury measures 600 m (1,968 ft) and opened on 24 June 2019.

The cars of a shuttle roller coaster travel to the end of the track, then return to the start point in the opposite direction. The tracks of shuttle roller coasters do not form a continuous circuit. Riders on Fury press buttons to vote on whether the coaster launches forwards or backwards. If the vote is a tie, the computer controller picks a direction at random.
