According to the International Game Fish Association (IGFA), Bruno Binet caught a duskytail grouper (Epinephelus bleekeri) that weighed 0.95 kg (2 lb 1 oz) on Kut Island, Thailand, on 11 February 2008. The fish was caught using squid as bait and measured 40 cm (1 ft 3 in) in length and had a girth of 31 cm (1 ft).
