The most wins of the top division in English football (currently the Premier League) is 20, achieved by Manchester United (UK) in 1908, 1911, 1952, 1956–57, 1965, 1967, 1993–94, 1996–97, 1999–2001, 2003, 2007–09, 2011 and 2013; and equalled by Liverpool (UK) in 1901, 1906, 1922–23, 1947, 1964, 1966, 1973, 1976–77, 1979–80, 1982–84, 1986, 1988, 1990, 2020 and 2025.

Liverpool equalled Manchester United’s tally of 20 league titles by winning the 2024/25 English Premier League. It was only their second title of the English Premier League era (1992–), while Manchester United have won the majority of their championships – 13 – in the same period, under Sir Alex Ferguson.
