According to the US Federal Bureau of Investigation, as of 16 March 2012, the world’s most wanted man is al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri. A sum of $25 million (£15.88 million) has been offered by the Rewards for Justice Program for his capture or conviction. Although the FBI does not provide a ranking of its most wanted, no one else has a larger bounty attached to their name.
