Tiki Barber (USA) of the New York Giants rushed for 1,662 yards during the 2006 season, the most ever by a player in his final year. Barber rushed for 234 yards against the Washington Redskins on 30 December 2006, the most ever by a player in his final game. It was the fifth 200-yard game of Barber’s career, which is second only to O.J. Simpson’s six career 200-yard games.
