Attaining a high score on this classic arcade game is still considered a major achievement, despite the game's 26-year history. On 27-­28 March 2005 -­ more than 11 years since the record was last broken - ­former Ms. PAC-MAN world champion, Chris Ayra (USA), took 4 hr 26 min to amass 325,270 points. He did so in "Fast Bullets" mode, which is widely considered the more difficult version of the game.
