During a night of marathon gaming on 4-5 December 2005, having just spent six hours smashing the Junior PAC-MAN record, Abdner Ashman (USA) immediately began to play Robotron for a further six hours (more than 100 games), until 6 am. He scored 945,550 points in total, breaking the former world record of 838,475 held by John Martinez (USA) since 2 July 1985.
