The 2024 survey, based largely on three-year average figures taken from 2021 to 2023, looked at factors such as quality and quantity of life, social support and personal liberty to allocate a rating for each nation, ranging between 0 and 10. Afghanistan's final score was 1.721, putting its populace's satisfaction level just below Lebanon (2.707) and Lesotho (3.186).
